On Sunday we broke into 8 teams and ministered in the churches in Mombasa. Souls came to Christ in every service, people were healed and many lives were touched.
On Monday we began at our new School of Ministry location. We began with a breakthrough prayer led by Pastor Victor from Indonesia that set the tone for the rest of the day. The glory of God descended the soil was prepared for the rest of the day. God’s sweet presence was felt throughout the day’s ministry.
Victor shared on importance of pastors obedience to the direction of the Holy Spirit and stressed the heart of God for souls and evangelism. I continued with The Call of God as we examined the call of Moses, Jeremiah and Gideon to do the impossible for God. Pastor Darrell followed with Servant Leadership. While speaking the power
went out and had to switch to generator power for the rest of the day. The heat became more intense as there was insufficient power to run the ceiling fans. We are on the Equator – it has been hot and humid. Albert followed with training the pastors on the Authority of the Believer. We each taught the pastors and leaders.
The medical team reached out to the community and treated 130 adults plus children – 1 Doctor and Nurse from Indonesia, I Nurse from the US, 5 Kenyan Doctors, other medical personnel and volunteers.
The evangelism truck went out to the villages for outreaches.
In the afternoon we had special training for the women and entrepreneurship training for Christian leaders. In the evening we had an evangelistic rally.
Today is the inauguration of the newly elected president which will allow more people to participate in the various outreaches.
We are hearing the sound of an abundance of rain and sense that God is about to pour out revival fires that will sweep the area and beyond.
Please continue to pray for the team and our families.
Thank you to all who have contributed to make this Mission to Africa possible.
