What a move of God in Mombasa, Kenya! The Revival Fire Conference and School of Ministry greatly impacted the lives of several hundred pastors and leaders. Their lives will never be the same. One after another, Pastors, Bishops, Evangelists, Pastors’ Fellowships’ Chairmen, came up to us to thank us for coming and teaching them and asking that we return. Many souls came to Christ in the open air meetings, church services and various outreaches. Many testified of healings.
More than 1500 people received medical aid in the Medical Outreaches that covered 6 areas of the city of Mombasa. This was a huge blessing to many as they go without medical treatment as it is not cheap and medicines are beyond their reach. The medical camps were held at various church locations – people were invited with advertisement and a truck with loud speakers. While being treated they were also evangelized. This was a huge boost to the churches’ outreach to their communities.
Several Orphan Homes were given food for 2 weeks, school supplies and money for school uniforms (children here must have school uniforms to attend school). A number of widows and single moms were also provided with food staples for 2 weeks. Many people suffer due to a lack of food and poor children have difficulty in starting school because they do not have a uniform. We are thankful that we were able to also feed the pastors and leaders during the Conference and School thanks to the generosity of the Indonesian Team members and others who contributed.
We had teaching for women, led by Sister Esther from Indonesia. Also there were children’s outreaches led by Michael Angelo, headmaster of a school in Indonesia. And, special entrepreneurship classes led by Brother Simon from Indonesia and Brother Darrell from Canada for those wishing to start a business and support thier local church and community. We were told they never had anything like this.
There is a huge need for ministerial training and the pastors are asking us to return as soon as possible.
We had American, Canadian, Indonesian, Swedish and Kenyan team members working together to reach and bless the people of Kenya. Special thanks for all the teachers and team members and supporting churches and ministries. To Walter and Marcy Labocki who were not able to join us due to passport issues but supported this effort nonetheless. Special thanks also to Tony and Marge Abram who donated hundreds of books for the pastors and supported this outreach. Likewise to Mrs. Ruthanne Garlock for the donation of her late husband’s books. And, to Pastor Petrus Agung of Gospel of the Kingdom Church for the great team led by Pastor Victor from Indonesia.
To God be the glory for all that was done!
