Greetings to you in the wonderful Name of Jesus!
I’m feeling a bit tired after 2 flights, with 2 more to go as I travel to Armenia, but excited about what God has done and is about to do.
Pastor Jairo from Canada just completed a week of teaching and ministry. Tomorrow I begin teaching at our final week of Bible School in Yerevan. The time in Armenia will afford me the opportunity to visit some of the churches we have helped and renew fellowship with pastors and leaders of this strategic nation in God’s wondrous plans. We changed the format of the school and had more students than in previous schools. Wonderful testimonies from the very start. 65 are graduating.
The school in Crimea has had a great run as well. Michelle Heimsoth is wrapping up this week of teaching. This next week will have an emphasis on fasting and prayer as well as practical applications just before the Christmas/New Year break. Right after we look forward to Pastor Mike and Linda Heimsoth form Indiana, Pastor Jim Seregow from Seattle, Businessman and Teacher Ken Hart from the UK, Pastor Vasiliy Zavogorodniy from California (originally from Odessa, Ukraine), Pastor Ernest Weaver from Indiana, Pastor Albert from California and and myself.
God has been blessing in the schools in Kaluga and Novosibirsk, Russia, though the involvement of foreign teachers has been more limited than we desired due to visas. Pastor Albert just returned with great reports. We look forward to more work in Russia this coming year as we obtain more visas for teachers. Many do not realize the difficult and lengthy process of getting religious visas of 1 1/2 months. Notwithstanding, we need to strengthen God’s people and help raise up more leaders in this great nation.
The school in Kherson was tremendously blessed by God, with attendance of up to 1,000. It is on break now after Ministry by Marcy and Walter Labocki and special Youth Conference with Pastor Jairo Leandro.
We are thankful to all the wonderful teachers God has provided from various parts of the world – Veteran Missionary Evangelists Tony and Marge Abram, Pastor Darrell Peregrym, Rev’s Marcy and Walter Labocki, Pastor Jairo Leandro, Pastor Joe Aksenchuk, Pastor Harley Fiddler, and others, including local pastors and teachers. God has used us as a team to train and raise up thousands of new leaders for His Kingdom. To God be the Glory. Many thanks to all teachers and to all who have supported and made it possible through prayers and financial support.
We look forward to having the entire family together for Christmas. Joe and Rachel are coming up from Texas. They must vacate their living quarters this weekend and move to temporary quarters as Joe completes his final semester of University. Susan and David are very close by and busy working. Tiffany is in her senior year of High School and busy applying to various universities. Nina is busy with dental work while also holding the fort down.
Congratulations to Adam and Abisag Zygarewicz, on their 50th anniversary. Adam is my oldest brother. He and Abi have spent much of their lives in missionary ministry work. They established the Church of God work in Bolivia about 50 years ago and have been missionaries in Russia for over 15 years. God bless you Adam and Abisag. May He renew your strength as that of an eagle and may He give you many more years of fruitful ministry in the nations of the world.
Please pray for our family and for the necessary finances to thrust forth with the Gospel even further into the enemy’s camp.
